Peer Support

Peer Support in ACS Barker — Fostering a Caring School Community

I helped develop and promote the Peer Support program at ACS Barker to create a supportive environment where students can help each other through challenges, both academic and personal.

What I Did

  • Facilitated regular peer support sessions and awareness activities around mental health and well-being

  • Created resources and communication materials to encourage students to reach out and support one another

  • Builds a positive school culture centered on kindness, trust, and community

  • Encourages early intervention and connects students to professional help if needed

  • Empowers students to develop leadership, communication, and emotional skills
